The Snapfish website offers a service for printing your digital photos. You upload the photos to them, and then they print them and post you the result. They offer a range of print sizes and styles, as well as a number of gift items where you can have the photo emblazoned onto the item of your choice. Snapfish also offers free online photo sharing so that you can create an online photo album which you can allow your friends to see.
When you first join up to Snapfish, they offer you your first 30 prints free of charge. This is great as it allows you to see the quality of the printing service that they offer you. You can also get more free prints when you refer your friends to use their service as well. Each friend who joins through you gets you a further 20 prints free of charge.
Snapfish offers some really lovely gift ideas such as baby bibs and bodysuits, teddybears wearing t-shirts with your print on, and magic mugs – where the image appears when the mug gets hot. These are not cheap, but for the ability to put your own chosen image onto them, they do make really lovely personalised gifts.
There is a very useful editing tool on the site which is totally free to use, where you can take photo’s that aren’t quite right and edit them. It isn’t a complex facility, but very useful if you don’t have software at home to use. It can do things like cropping, removing red eye, and auto contrast which will brighten up your image if it’s a little lacking in contrast. There’s also a link there to a tips page where you can get ideas and tips on taking your photographs.

Postage and packaging costs vary according to what you’re ordering – up to 50 prints will cost you just 99p for delivery, but more than this, or with gift items included and you’ll pay a different amount.
