Mypixmania online photoprinting review
Get your 40 free digital prints from Mypixmania
My website is a sub website of Pixmania.com where you can buy a variety of electronic and electrical products. Mypix is the section of the site which deals with selling digital photo printing. It also offers you a place to store online photo albums so that you can share your pictures with your friends and family. Mypix offers a range of personalised photo gifts ideas including; mugs, calendars, games consoles, clothing, watches and jewellery, agendas, office furnitures, home products, accessories and gadgets.
Photos are what you’d expect to find on this site, and yep you can certainly get those. In a variety of sizes, gloss or matt finish you can choose pretty much what you want and they are all printed on Fugifilm paper as well. However, as well as this mypix goes a step further in that it offers quite a selection of personalised photo gifts as well. Watches where the face of the watch is your photo, Snow domes with your picture in them, Zippo lighters with your photo on them, and even a range of lamps with your picture as part of the design. I have to say some of these idea’s I’ve never seen on any other photo site, so it’s nice to have options here that are a little different from those elsewhere.

Prices on the site are really clearly marked with VAT included already, and delivery charges vary according to how much you are ordering and whether you want the items delivered to your home or if you’d prefer to collect them in a local store, and payment can be made by Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, American Express, Switch, Maestro, Solo or Paypal.
One nice thing about mypix is that they seem to be fairly environmentally conscious as they state on their site that ‘Chemical baths used at the beginning of the development process give life to your digital images. Once these “inks” have been used, the excess chemicals must be recycled. At myPix.com, absolutely no waste is released into the environment or into evacuation systems with respect to the law. All chemicals are stored in hermetically-sealed containers, which are shipped to a treatment facility where the reactive elements are then extracted.’ So although they’re not always using digital printing, they are at least being careful with the chemicals that they do use.
When you register with the Mypix site you become entitled to 40 free prints when you place your first order within one month of joining the site. They also have a newsletter which they e-mail to members to keep you up to date with any special offers they have on.
